“We are very proud of our enthusiastic and dedicated team of Nursery Practitioners who work closely together across all aspects of the nursery, supporting and mentoring each other. They have been chosen for their ability to provide the highest standards of care to each baby/child in their care, and their commitment to delivering an excellent service to the families who come to us. 

Our staff work here because of their enthusiasm, sense of fun, positive approach, patience, understanding and most importantly their love of children. Our staff have a high level of skill, experience and qualifications in childcare. We have a programme of on-going staff training and development. All staff have been carefully selected through our robust recruitment process including individual DBS checks which are updated to current guidelines.

All staff take part in a program of continuing professional development, supervision and review. We meet regularly as a team and hold team supervision and review sessions.

On joining Emeralds Little Gems your child will be appointed their own Key Person who will act as their primary carer and pivotal contact for their time within the Nursery. 

The Nurseries are managed by very skilled and experienced Nursery Managers, Joanne Foster and Sarah Bell. They have a wealth of experience and will assist you in any way. Please feel free to come and meet them and our team at any time.

Sam Anderson is our very dedicated and experienced, Lead Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) who supports children, families and our Team. Sam may help you and the team to support your child from time to time if her expertise is required and if there is a need for additional support with development and progress. Sam leads a team of SENCOs who have additional training and skills and work throughout the Nursery.”
